Located at the opposite end of the island from Pothia, Emborious is at the far tip of the island. It enjoys a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. There is a sandy beach with a few tavernas and bars. A bus service (schedules and times vary) to town takes around 30 mins. Close by are the coastal villages of Skalia and Argiononda where fish farms produce tasty snapper which is freshly available at the local Tavernas.
